We will use our car rider dismissal procedures to release students from the dance. 6th and 7th graders will dismiss to the front of the school. Please form two car rider lines. 8th grade students will dismiss to the bus lane behind the school. Please form one care rider line. If you have siblings in multiple grades, they will dismiss with the highest grade level. (e.g., 6th grade and 8th grade siblings. 6th grader will go with 8th grader to the bus lane.)
To ensure the safety of all students we ask that you do not park. We will not dismiss any students to parked vehicles. Please stay in your vehicle and follow the flow of traffic. Be ready to provide your student's car rider tag, number, or name to employees.

Today middle and high school fall Griffin-Spalding County Schools Athletics participated in the Beyond Self Athlete's Assembly, led by Community Partner and Mentor David Johnson. The Beyond Self Athlete Program is meant to grow student leadership skills, build character and improve school culture. Athletes were told they are all Persons Of Influence (POI) and the importance of the 3 R's: Respect Yourself, Respect Others and Take Responsibility. Keynote Speaker Tunji Adebayo Jr. inspired student-athletes to develop the skills and attitudes they need to recognize their potential. He taught the students that everyone is unique and can achieve greatness.
