All GSCS schools & offices will be closed for Presidents' Day & Winter Break February 16-20, 2026.

Our 8th graders will soon have the exciting opportunity to step into the real world and explore future careers during Job Shadow Day! Students will learn firsthand what a typical workday looks like, ask questions, and gain valuable insight into different professions.
This experience is all about discovery, inspiration, and helping our students start thinking about their goals beyond middle school. We can’t wait to see them learn, grow, and shine!

Book Club shoutout!
We love seeing our Book Club students so engaged that they’ve been caught reading all throughout the school day—between classes, during breaks, and anytime they can sneak in a few more pages. Their love for stories, curiosity, and commitment to reading is contagious!
When students choose to read just because they love it, that’s a win worth celebrating.
Keep turning those pages—we see you, readers! 💙📖
