As of July 8, 2020, the Griffin-Spalding Board of Education has approved Option 1 for the Griffin-Spalding County Schools Reopening Plan. This option provides for schools to resume normal operations, while implementing a remote at-home learning option for families to sign up for if they are not comfortable sending their child to school for the first nine (9) weeks. Families have the option to choose full-time remote learning for their student(s) for this designated length of time.
If you have multiple children who will utilize the remote at-home learning option, please complete a form for each child for the school they will attend. Families must commit to the entire 9-week period. Please ensure that you have reliable internet access.
Please complete the GSCS Remote At-Home Learning Commitment Form for each child and submit it to your child's school by Friday, July 17, 2020.
